Paul trained in the UK, graduating from the Kent Institute of Art and Design in 2001, where he was recognised as one of the country’s leading architecture students. Since then, he has built over 30 years of experience, serving as Principal and Design Director with major global firms and contributing to some of Australia’s most significant projects.

Through this journey, he has come to believe that architecture is not only about scale or profile, but about people, place, and the experiences a building can shape.

With pb+, he brings this depth of experience to a more personal scale, focusing on bespoke, crafted projects where every detail matters. His approach is collaborative, thoughtful, and rooted in sustainability—because the spaces we design today must also serve tomorrow.

While residential work is at the heart of the practice, we also consult for cultural, civic, and commercial opportunities, each guided by the same commitment: to create meaningful architecture that enriches lives and resonates long after the project is complete.
